Latest electricity bill
Property ownership or tenancy documents
Site location and roof layout details
Solar system capacity details
Solar panel and inverter specifications
Net metering application form (if applicable)
Required approvals from the electricity distribution company
How do you evaluate the cost of solar repair?
The cost of solar repair is evaluated through a detailed inspection of the solar system to identify faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, or mounting structures. Repair costs depend on system size, type of issue, replacement parts, labor charges, and warranty status.
Factors such as system age, performance loss, and accessibility also impact the total solar repair cost. Proper evaluation ensures accurate pricing and long-term system efficiency.
What is the per square-feet cost of panel installation?
The per square-feet cost of solar panel installation depends on panel efficiency, system size, and installation type. On average, one kilowatt (1kW) of solar panels requires around 100 to 120 square feet of roof space.
In Pakistan, the installation cost is usually calculated per kilowatt rather than per square foot. However, when converted, the approximate cost ranges between PKR 1,200 to PKR 2,000 per square foot, depending on equipment quality, inverter type, and installation complexity.
Factors such as roof structure, wiring distance, and mounting system can also affect the final cost.
When should we check the battery connections?
Battery connections should be checked every 3 to 6 months to ensure proper performance and safety of the solar system. Regular checks help identify loose terminals, corrosion, or cable damage that can reduce battery efficiency or cause power issues.
Battery connections should also be inspected after power outages, extreme weather conditions, or if you notice reduced backup time or charging problems. Timely inspection helps extend battery life and ensures reliable energy storage.
